{"id":23,"date":"2008-12-20T20:14:55","date_gmt":"2008-12-20T19:14:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.sinfonica-juvenil.com\/wordpress\/?page_id=23"},"modified":"2026-04-28T17:00:44","modified_gmt":"2026-04-28T16:00:44","slug":"orquestra","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.sinfonica-juvenil.com\/?page_id=23","title":{"rendered":"Orquestra"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ORQUESTRA SINF\u00d3NICA JUVENIL<\/p>\n<p>Fundada em 1973, a <strong>Orquestra Sinf\u00f3nica Juvenil <\/strong>\u00e9, hoje, reconhecida como uma institui\u00e7\u00e3o fundamental no nosso panorama m\u00fasico-pedag\u00f3gico.<br \/>\nSendo em Portugal a \u00fanica orquestra de jovens com actividade cont\u00ednua, desempenha um papel fulcral na forma\u00e7\u00e3o de jovens m\u00fasicos, numa perspectiva de aperfei\u00e7oamento de alto n\u00edvel e profissionaliza\u00e7\u00e3o.<br \/>\nNestes 53 anos de exist\u00eancia, a OSJ recebeu e formou muitos dos actuais instrumentistas das nossas orquestras, incentivou e deu a conhecer ao p\u00fablico muitos jovens solistas e levou a sua ac\u00e7\u00e3o em favor da cultura musical a todo o pa\u00eds, contribuindo para a cria\u00e7\u00e3o de novos p\u00fablicos.<br \/>\nContando nos seus quadros com 70 elementos das diversas escolas de m\u00fasica da \u00e1rea de Lisboa, o seu repert\u00f3rio, em permanente renova\u00e7\u00e3o, \u00e9 ambicioso e vasto: foram j\u00e1 tocadas mais de 800 obras abrangendo os s\u00e9culos XVIII a XXI.<br \/>\nA OSJ e os seus agrupamentos s\u00e3o convidados para actuar em importantes acontecimentos art\u00edsticos.<br \/>\nJ\u00e1 se apresentou na Gr\u00e9cia, China, Macau, \u00cdndia e Espanha<br \/>\nA OSJ encomenda regularmente obras a compositores portugueses, apresentando-as em estreias mundiais.<br \/>\nMant\u00e9m acordos de colabora\u00e7\u00e3o com orquestras similares de v\u00e1rios pa\u00edses, com as quais estabelece interc\u00e2mbio de jovens m\u00fasicos.<br \/>\nNos per\u00edodos de f\u00e9rias de Ver\u00e3o, realiza est\u00e1gios de aperfei\u00e7oamento orquestral, com uma presen\u00e7a regular na Regi\u00e3o Aut\u00f3noma dos A\u00e7ores.<br \/>\nA OSJ colabora regularmente com diversos coros na apresenta\u00e7\u00e3o de repert\u00f3rio coral-sinf\u00f3nico.<br \/>\nPara al\u00e9m dos Maestros-Titulares (Alberto Nunes de 1973\u201383) e Christopher Bochmann (desde 1984) foi dirigida por Francisco d&#8217;Orey, Jorge Matta, Ant\u00f3nio Saiote, Roberto Perez, Georges Adjinikos, Jos\u00e9 Palau, Andrew Swinerton, Vasco Azevedo, Julius Michalsky, Pedro Amaral e Jo\u00e3o Defesa.<br \/>\nA OSJ desenvolve as suas actividades com o apoio do Minist\u00e9rio da Cultura, Instituto Portugu\u00eas do Desporto e Juventude, RTP, C\u00e2mara Municipal de Lisboa e com o apoio mecen\u00e1tico da Funda\u00e7\u00e3o EDP, institui\u00e7\u00e3o com a qual tem desenvolvido um fecundo programa de bolsas.<\/p>\n<p>ORQUESTRA SINF\u00d3NICA JUVENIL<br \/>\nThe Orquestra Sinf\u00f3nica Juvenil was created in 1973 and is today recognized as a fundamental institution in the panorama of music tuition in Portugal.<br \/>\nIt is the only youth orchestra in Portugal that is active all year round, and it fulfils an essential role in the training of young musicians, providing professional experience at the highest level.<br \/>\nIn 49 years of activity, the O.S.J. has taken in and trained many of the present-day members of Portuguese orchestras, and has encouraged and promoted many young soloists. Its activities stretch over the whole country and have contributed significantly to the creation of a new listening public.<br \/>\nThe orchestra has about 70 members, that come from various different music schools from the area of greater Lisbon. Its repertoire is ambitious and far-reaching and in constant evolution. More than 800 works have been played ranging from the 17<sup>th<\/sup> to the 21<sup>st<\/sup> centuries.<br \/>\nThe O.S.J. and its respective sub-groups are in constant demand for important artistic occasions. Various formations of the O.S.J. have performed in Hortos (Greece), in Tianjin (China), in Vigo (Galicia, Spain) and in Goa, Bangalore, New Delhi and Bombay (India).<br \/>\nThe O.S.J. regularly commissions works from young Portuguese composers, and gives the first performances.<br \/>\nThe orchestra has on-going collaboration agreements with similar orchestras in other countries, with which it organizes the exchange of young musicians.<br \/>\nIn the summer holidays, it organizes orchestral courses; these have mostly been held in the autonomous regions of the Azores and Madeira.<br \/>\nThe O.S.J. regularly collaborates with a\u00a0 number of choirs in the performance of large choral works with orchestra.<br \/>\nIn addition to its resident conductors, Alberto Nunes (1973-1983) and Christopher Bochmann (since 1984), the orchestra has been conducted by Francisco d&#8217;Orey, Jorge Matta, Ant\u00f3nio Saiote, Roberto P\u00e9rez, Georges Adjinikos, Jos\u00e9 Palau, Andrew Swinnerton, Vasco Azevedo, Julius Michalsky, Pedro Amaral and Filipe Carvalheiro.<br \/>\nThe O.S.J. is supported by the Ministry of Culture, the Portuguese Institute of Sport and Youth, RTP (the Portuguese national television and radio service), the Lisbon City Council and the EDP Foundation; the last has set up an elaborate programme of study grants.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ORQUESTRA SINF\u00d3NICA JUVENIL Fundada em 1973, a Orquestra Sinf\u00f3nica Juvenil \u00e9, hoje, reconhecida como uma institui\u00e7\u00e3o fundamental no nosso panorama m\u00fasico-pedag\u00f3gico.
